So, the moment that you have all been waiting for.....
My new, rather old, compi is...
Remember my sweet CCM companion?? Well we have been reunited once again. And soooo sweet was our reunion! Frankly, I don't have much to write this week; we have just been working hard and doing a lot of catching up :) I love her SOOO MUCH!!!!
I just want you all to know how much I truly love our Savior! This fallen world we live in can be so dark sometimes. On the mish i have met and come to love so many of God's children with such heavy burdens, just trodden down on life's path. Beloved children of God who feel alone, abandoned, broken-hearted, weary, oppressed, and really hopeless. The joy of the mission really only comes from the chance we have as missionaries to witness first-hand, front row, the healing power and love of the Atonement of Christ. I may have not been in their circumstances exactly and felt those same pains, but I know someone who has. In my own dark moments the Savior, with his infinite mercy and grace, has reached out, picked me up, and carried me. I love Him. I don't totally understand what he suffered on that dark night in Gethsemane and on the cross, and I probably never will, but I am learning every day and am so grateful for His glorious resurrection. That's why I'm here. These people need Him. I need Him. And so do you! Until next weeeek!
P.S.: some great articles and talks I've been pondering on a lot....
